This story is about a young black boy named Will, who is struggling with some negative views about himself, but throughout his journey learns how to share his feelings and become the hero he is inside. During this stressful time, remember we can be heroes for ourselves and for our kids! Come up with your own superpowers and share them as a family.

It Will Be Okay Book Reading

Hi everyone, I just posted a personal reading of It Will Be Okay on YouTube this afternoon. I created this book to help support children's mental health in a way that's fun and easily accessible for them. It Will Be Okay is designed to tackle themes of overcoming fear, anxiety, and bullying, which makes it a great resource for parents, teachers, and other mental health professionals who work children experiencing stressful moments. I was honored to be featured in an email by Lead to Read again. Check out what they had to say!

"Lead to Read KC is excited to partner with local children’s therapist and author Vladimir Sainte for a second year to help promote coping skills and self-esteem among our students. Sainte’s book It Will Be Okay brings a message of hope about overcoming bullying, anxiety and fear. His book Just Like a Hero teaches personal values and challenges negative thoughts.

Each of our teaching partners will receive one of Sainte’s books and a teaching guide, and each of our students will receive a book. We are organizing author visits to a number of our partner schools. Watch for more details soon via email and our social media!"
